TIME - 3PM
ATTIRE - PINK!

Cya all for the match this coming sunday. Lets turn up early to have a good warm up session before the match and fight for the first win of the season!

Matches can be won or lost before the game starts - in the team warm ups. From the moment the whistle blows, players can be chasing to get in a vital tackle, sprinting on to a through-ball or leaping above an attacker to make a clearance. They will only be ready and able to do it if they are properly warmed up.

About 25mins of warm-up is all that is necessary - to get the heart and lungs working and muscles warm and relaxed.

2 Stages of warm up

Stage 1
Moving Joints - Slow circular movements of al your joints first in one direction then the other: ankles, then knees, hips, wrists, elbows and shoulders. The neck should only be moved in semi circles.

Stage one will get u mobile!

Stage 2

Includes jogging, passing and flex runs (moving sideway with crossing of legs)
