Individual Performances

Jon: Despite a shaky first half, never gave in and put up a solid performance in the 2nd half, cutting out all dangerous balls.

Wilfred: Made several spectacular tackles and looked assured at the back alongside Wonderbra despite missing his regular partner Godfather.

Wonderbra: Just as his name suggests, he enveloped his opponents and marked them tightly, ensuring the security of the defense. Pushed up to offer great support to the midfield too.

Kian Seng: Never-ending runs up the flank. Unfortunate not to score, hitting the post. As a testament to his work-rate and hunger, had cramps in both legs late in the 2nd half, yet came on to play again after a short rest.

Chris: Showed great initiative in pushing up, and displayed good dribbling skills as well. Was the victim of several crunching tackles but was never unfazed.

Lester: The Makalele of the team. Full of running and bite, ensuring that the defense was well protected. The engine of the midfield.

Wei Jie: Despite it being his first game, showed good understanding with Lester in the midfield and put in a solid game.

Sara: The match-winner was cool and composed at all times, spreading the play and controlling the tempo of the game.

Martin: The most experience player in the team, he constantly kept the opposing team's midfielders under pressure, and supported the strikers ably with his box to box play.

Ben Ang: The player-manager showed great pace, often beating one or two players on the flanks on one of his mazy dribbles. Kept the opposing defense unsettled. Tactics were spot on

Nugget: Showed great positioning and pace to be in the right place to score two goals. As usual his freakish pace and pressuring from up front created mistakes from the opponents.

ZS: Unlucky not to score. Showed touches of brilliance and good understanding with fellow attackers. Look to him to break his goal drought next match.

Ken Tan aka Pussy: Despite not being match-fit, gave it his all and showed promising touches. Will surely get better with more matches

Zack: Finally broke his duck with a well taken goal, and then proceeded to celebrate rather too exuberantly for a goal that only made the score 1-2. Was fulling of running and came close to scoring his 2nd on several occasions.

Bennett: Critics are running out of superlatives to describe this superb player. With 2 goals and 3 assists in 3 games, he is clearly the star man. Do you have him in your fantasy league team?
