Kent Ridge Secondary 060909

Team Unknown 11 - 1 Team SausageFest

Team: Lin Jie, Leon (Assist), Pussy, Zack, Bennett, Josh, Ahsik, Ronald and Victor (1)
Man of the Match: Lee Lin Jie
Ref: Rowan Shawn

Note: Congrats to Lin Jie for his outstanding performance on the field today. He literally lowered the scoreline and earn a twisted ankle in return!

We welcome our latest sausage Victor Chan, coming out of retirement and scored a curling shot past the helpless keeper. (Assisted by Leon)

Well done Sausages for the nice passing game and our defenders for their fearless attempt to block out the endless barrage of shots. Good linkup and we actually had more passes then we did last game.

We have 28 players on the list and there were only 7 players on the field today. Something to think about guys! Having at least 11 players on the field is also a form of respect for our opponent who paid the same amount of money and hoping to get some challenge out of it. I'll leave the rest to our manager Sir Benjamin Ang.

Onwards Sausages! Next match will be 2 weeks from now...

SAUSAGES UNITE!!!

Hey Sausages!!! Sorry for the long break. I can't manage to book a field for our match. Simply put, we have opponents but no field. Must be the holiday period. Christmas + Holidays = Increased Soccer Time. (Ang's Theory of Soccerlitis, Sir Benjamin Ang 2008) Hohoho... I'm gonna book for Suns during Janaury so please keep yr suns free! Since this is my first post, I'll give your a little introduction. I'm the manager of your team, and I'm proud to be helping all you sausages out! (Although the pay is crap! ...yayaya>.<) My past achievements include 2 Epl trophies, 2 FA Cups and being the finalist for the league cup and Champions League. All of this were achieved within the short span of 2 years. Clement, Zhi Hong, Jason, Joshua and Desmond can vouch for this. My philosophy is simple: Believe in the team. Regardless of your skill, fitness or ability, I believe all of us can play free-flowing champagne football. I want to see passes, dribbles and full-blooded clean(yes, jason) tackles than will arouse the crowd and keep them coming and coming for our matches. I believe the greatest respect that one can receive is praise and acceptance from his/her opponent. (Case in point: Ronaldo received a standing ovation from the Old Trafford crowd during an exciting champions league tie between Man Utd and Read Madrid a few years ago. Although in this case Ronaldo scored the goals to knock Man Utd out, the Old Trafford crowd still gave him their adoration and respect. Now that's true respect!) I want all of us to turn up with enthusiasm whether it's rain or shine or whether we're winning or losing.  With 1 min to go, we might be winning 10-0 or even losing 100-0, I still want all of us to be fighting for every single ball like our lives depend on it. Think like Champions, Act like Champions, Play like Champions and Fight like Champions!

PS: On the 31th Dec, evening time, we're having barbecue and steamboat at Garrick's House. I'll be contacting all of you for your attendance. Please take note of this event.

Cheers!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Signed, Your ever loving manager.

Missing Sausage - Clement Chua

Do keep a look out for this missing sausage! AWOL after his first debut. Favourite hang out places include Bukit Panjang Plaza and AL Ahzhar.

And Sir Benjamin Ang, where are our long overdue match reports...

VICTORIOUS!

Just when everyone thought that Arsenal would have thrashed Hull at their own Emirate Stadium, Hull came out with an unexpected victory. A victory that shows everybody that not everyday is a sweet sunday. Hull, a smaller team with no name, killed arsenal fans straight in their face, sent them back home with grumpy faces and all. Feelings of the Hull fans couldn't be further described. They have tasted a great victory over one of the big 4s. Will there be more to come? Stoke had also caused the world to lose money with a draw at Anfield. So can anyone tell me who to bet on next time? I totally have no idea. Football is round, we players control the game so if we believe we can win, we WILL win. Confidence is very important.

Players of the mighty pinks, if you happen to read this post accidentally, please have faith in yourself for the match on this coming Sunday. For the fans of Sausagefest, we are having a match with a very strong team on this Sunday so we will be glad if you are able to turn up to give us your morale support. I repeat, CONFIDENCE and DETERMINATION are the keys to success so keep yourself physically and mentally strong for this coming match. We will fight on from the starting blow of the whistle to the end of the 90 minutes with extra time. Keep it going, my fellow sausages! Strive for greater success and to victory here we come!

Rome isn't built in a day. Keep the team spirit high and going! OINK OINK!
